How can I track the statistics on my Spottt?

To track your Spottt, log in to your account and go to the "Stats-O-Rama" tab. Here you will be able to see the impressions, clicks and credits earned by your Spottts.

You are free to use a third party tracker of your choosing if you would like to have more information, however, please note that Spottt solely relies on its own analytics.

How do I edit my Spottt?

To edit your Spottt, go to "My Spottt" and click on the "edit" link. From this page you can edit the Spottt's target URL, name, site description and image. Please note that when you edit your Spottt, it is automatically returned to our queue to be re-reviewed.

How do I remove/ delete my account?

To delete your account:

Please remove all Spottt HTML from your site or page and delete all your Spottts from your account. Once all of your Spottts have been deleted, your account will be closed.

To delete your Spottt, go to the "My Spotts" tab and click "delete".

When will my Spottt be activated?

In order to activate your Spottt, the HTML must be imbedded on your site. Please remember that we can not review your Spottt until the it garners impressions. Once your Spottt has had impressions, it will be reviewed within fifteen minutes.

How do I remove a Spottt that is not suitable for my site?

Removing a Spottt is easy:

1. Click on the "My Spottts" tab and click on the "Sites I trade with" link.
2. Select the Spottt you'd like to remove and click on the "Don't trade with this user" link.

Please allow up to thirty minutes for the Spottt to be removed from your rotation.

How do I add Spottt to my site or page??

If you've already created a Spottt, you can now move on to adding Spottt to your site. The beauty of Spottt is that it's really easy to use.

Once you have created your spot, all you have to do is copy the HTML, and paste it within your template or platform.

To add Spottt to Blogger:

1. From your Blogger Dashboard, click on the "Layout" tab and select "Add a gadget" from the menu.
2. Once you've selected "Add a gadget", a pop up window will appear with different choices; select the "HTML/JavaScript" option.
3. Go to your Spottt account, click on the "My Spottts" tab and select the HTML for the Spottt you wish to add to your site.
4. Go back Blogger and embed the HTML in to the "Configure HTML/JavaScript" box  and click "Save".

To add Spottt to WordPress:

1. In your Spottt account, go to "My Spottt" and click on the "MySpace friendly HTML" and copy the code.
2. Go to your WordPress Dashboard and select "Appearance".
3. Click on "Widgets" and select the "Text (Arbitrary text or HTML)" widget.
4. Go to the widget and click on "Edit". This action will open a text box where you can insert the HTML.
5. Embed the friendly HTML in to the box and click on "Save Changes".

To add to MySpace:

1. In your Spottt account, go to "My Spottt" and click on the "MySpace friendly HTML" and copy the code.
2. Go to "Edit Profile" and select the field where you wish to place the Spottt HTML.
3. Embed the HTML and click on "Save Changes"

Remember:

• Only 1 Spottt per page.
• The Spottt HTML code should be on the URL your Spottt links to.
  For example, if you created a Spottt ad for your website at http://www.yourdomain.com, the Spottt review team should be able to find the Spottt HTML code on http://www.yourdomain.com, serving Spottt ads for other Spottt members.
• Must be "above the fold." (No more than 850 pixels from the top of the page, so we don't have to scroll down to find it.)
• No modifications to the Spottt HTML.
• No adult or inappropriate content.

How Do I Create a Spottt??

Spottt is an easy to use tool for users who are looking to build traffic for their site with out a lot of fuss.

To create a new Spottt:
1. Log in to your account
2. Click on the "Creat a new Spottt" tab
3. Enter your site's address, name your Spottt and write up a small description of your site.

4. Upload an image of your choosing. Please note that your image will be resized to 125 x 125.

Make sure that the image is appropriate for the type of site you are linking to. Please remember that:

• This image will be displayed on other Spottt members' sites
• Only JPG, GIF, or PNG are supported
• Your image will be resized to 125 x 125 pixels
• No adult, pornographic, or inappropriate images
• No nudity
• No animated GIFs

How Do I earn Spottt Credits and What Can I do With Them?

When a Spottt gathers impressions, they are automatically converted into credits. These credits are then converted into impressions which are used to display your Spottt on other sites.
